Teach with humour and grace

Good students apply themselves and learn it. Normal students sometimes remember, sometimes forget. Bad students laugh at it.

A way you can't laugh at isn't worth learning, so here's some sage advice.

Observing it obscures it, proving it refutes it and clarifying confounds it. Praising its power degrades it and preaching defiles it. Promoting its power depletes it, celebrating its power demeans it and believing denies it.

It's a grand design with no blueprint, great potential that develops slowly, good news that's rarely heard, a striking resemblance to nothing at all. Laozi's way is a riddle with no answer, and it's only as convincing as it is a good sport.
